About Us

Our Mission

For the Love of the Game is a Canadian non-profit organization aimed at offering the highest quality education and resources for people of the sports community worldwide with online training, webinars, and sports conferences. Through our products and services, we aim to create a positive impact in youth sports communities. We view ourselves as being leaders in what we do - driving positivity, inspiring change, and engaging communities.  Our goal is moderate growth, spread positive influence, and become a beacon in youth sports communities around the world.

By providing coaches and parents online courses, workshops, and resources, together we can be the catalyst to reverse the negative trends impacting youth sports so all age groups involved PLAY “For the Love of the Game”.

Meet Our Team

Glen Mulcahy

Founder and Executive Director

As a UBC Alumni, speaker for Change the Game Project, and hockey Canada NCCP facilitator, Glen wishes to expand his positive influence to improve the youth sports system.

Glen’s belief in focusing on the fundamentals of the game rather than current game-centric and winning at all costs is inspiring. Now with two youth athletes of his own, Glen is determined to bring the game back to the kids and inspire youth to stay involved in sports not just during teen years, but throughout adulthood as well.

Geoff Lenahan

Geoff is a Trinity Western Alumni with a MA in Arts. He is former president for the Red Lions athletic association being responsible for much of their growth and development. In addition, Geoff is a sports facilities coordinator for Douglas College; highly experienced with coordinating tournaments and event planning.

He is passionate about how the skills learned through sport transfers into non-sport situations and the skills of life.

John Holyk

As a coach coordinator for the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association, John works with coach coordinators from 43 associations in the PCAHA. He is also a Hockey Canada NCCP Facilitator for BC Hockey and long-term hockey coach of both female and male teams.

In his time coaching, John has seen first hand the difficulties of the youth sports system. Through coaching, he wishes to inspire positive change from the grassroots up.
